How the finder works
You give a budget and, if you wish, a type, a locality, a size and the number of bedrooms. The finder looks at the real, reviewed listings on LucknowSquare that fit, groups them by locality, and puts each locality's asking prices next to the rest of Lucknow using the price index.
- It never shows a demonstration listing and never makes one up. If nothing fits, it says so.
- The locality notes come from our editors' guides. A note that has not been verified is marked "editorial draft".
- Asking prices are what sellers want, not valuations. Check documents, approvals and the circle rate yourself.
Developers and assistants can read the same results as data: /api/v1/finder?budget=4000000&type=residential-plot.

Where do the recommendations come from?
What if no listing matches my budget?
The finder says so. It then shows the nearest real listing above your budget, if there is one, and, where the price index has enough data, what your budget could buy at the median asking price in different localities. Those are averages, not listings.
Why does it show localities, not just properties?
Because a budget goes further in some localities than others. For each locality with a matching listing the finder shows how many listings match, the asking range and, where it can, how the locality's median asking price per sq.ft. compares with the rest of Lucknow.
